Alessandra is a second generation yogini that has been living and breathing Yoga and Ayurveda since she was a teenager and for more than 30 years. Her mum Fiore was a  Bhakta-yogini (devotee of the Divine Mother ) with an incredible passion, curiosity and love for this art, discipline and way of life.

Alessandra is a Senior Yoga Teacher SYT with Yoga Alliance Professionals. This accreditation sets excellent standards  by the Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Alessandra, Vinyasa Flow & PranaFlow  London based Yoga teacher, has been teaching in the Uk and internationally for  the past 15 years. She has numerous hours of teaching and training experience. She teaches  Vinyasa Flow  and PranaFlow Yoga classes and Workshops, Intensive weekly Modules valid as CPD, two yearly Teacher Training Courses with her school, a PranaFlow Teacher Training with Yogacampus, Retreats and Events in the UK and abroad .  She Is the founder and Principal Teacher of Aditya Yoga School that offers Foundation and Advanced Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training Programs  in London and internationally, Registered and accredited with Yoga Alliance Professionals as RYS 200 and RYS 500.

Aditya Yoga School is Affiliate with Samudra ( Shiva Rea’s Global School for Living Yoga) and Alessandra is the first Uk PranaFlow Trainer authorised by Shiva to train teachers in this method.

In her Yoga practice and daily life she honours the Kriya Yoga and the T. Krishnamacharya lineages (particularly PranaFlow  and Vinyasa Flow) .

She has learned  Kriya Yoga under the guidance of Swami Kriyananda (direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda) in the early Ninetiees, spending extensive periods of time in swami’s Ashrams in Northern California and in Italy. From him she has learned Kriyas, Karma , Bhakty, Meditation, Pranayama,  Mudra-asanam and techniques that have been passed down from generations by the great Siddhas (Saints) of the Himalayas.

She has pursued her  studies  in the Sri Tirumulai Krishnamacharya‘s Lineage ( Astanga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga) in Mysore, India and in the UK . Although Krishnamacharya did not teach thousand of students, he is considered the father of modern yoga. His most famous pupils are B.K.S Iyengar (Iyengar Tradition), Sri K. Patthabi Jois (Asthanga Vinyasa tradition), Indra Devi and  T.K.S. Desikachar (Vinyoga tradition).

Alessandra has started her Astanga Vinyasa practice in 2001, studied in Mysore under the guidance of Sri K. Patthabi Jois and has continued to deepen her practice with many international teachers in London like David Swenson, John Scott, Dina Kingsbers, Michaela Clarke ,David Williams and NAncy Gilgoff.

For the past 15 years  she has learned Prana Flow Yoga ( a branch of Vinyasa Flow) from Shiva Rea, both in London and globally. She has apprenticed with  Shiva Rea for 8 years in London and internationally .

Alessandra is the first PranaFlow Trainer in the Uk. She offers PranaFlow Teacher Training at Yogacampus once a year.

Alessandra has released a meditation cd ” Shabda ” on Chakras, breath and sound based on the Kriya-Tantra tradition  accompanied by the Live Music of Ann Malone. Shabda is available for download on ITunes .

In 2013 Alessandra has founded Aditya Yoga School to transmit the authenticity of the Ancient Techniques of Yoga to the Modern Yogis; the focus of the School is shifting  from practicing to living Yoga. She offers two  Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training Programs  running yearly in London Uk. The Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training programs are accredited with Yoga Alliance Professionals as RYT 200 and RYT 500.
