With my Istha Devata Ganesha
Her practice in the Kriya Yoga tradition, Tantra, Ayurveda and the T. Krishnamacharya lineage (particularly Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga) infuse her Vinyasa flow teaching.
In the Ninetiees she has spent several years learning Kriya Yoga under the guidance of Swami Kriyananda (direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda), spending extensive periods of time in his Ashrams in Northen California and in Italy. Kriya is Yoga for the householder of the 21st century and consists of Karma , Bhakty, Meditation, Pranayama and mudra asana that have been passed down from generations by the great Siddhas (Saints) of the Himalayas.
Alongside her practice of Kriya Yoga, she has concentrated her interest and studies in the Sri Tirumulai Krishnamacharya‘s Lineage ( Astanga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga). Although Krishnamacharya did not teach thousand of students, he is considered the father of modern yoga. His most famous pupils are B.K.S Iyengar (Iyengar Tradition), Sri K. Patthabi Jois (Asthanga Vinyasa tradition), Indra Devi and T.K.S. Desikachar (Vinyoga tradition).
Alessandra has studied Asthanga Vinyasa in Mysore under the guidance of Sri K. Patthabi Jois and has continued to deepen her practice with many international teachers in London.

with Music Muse Ann Malone
Alessandra has been teaching Yoga in London for the past 9 years. She runs inspiring and challenging Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes and Workshops, either on her own or collaborating with guest teachers/artists (Ann Malone, Tabla Tom, DIrish SHakti Dance) where she encourages the students to explore their full potential by connecting with their own natural rhythm through movement, voice and breath work and other forms of creative self expression.
By threading breath, movement and intention, we open to the inherent pulse of life force. By working with Kramas (progressive sequences) the classes are accessible to all levels and the practitioners are constantly encouraged to follow and honor their own inclinations and personal dharma.
